Roles sought: Players, 7 slots in total over two nights
Game style: high roleplay, emphasis on challenging encounters and world exploration. 18+ as there will be adult themes and language.
Game Description:
A far-thrown archipelago. Hardly anything is known of it outside the name: The Silver Dragon Chain. Many expeditions from the mainland have been launched, with naught but a few returning. It is said to be a savage land, with even more savage denizens, if the legends and tales are to be believed. The Lord’s Alliance, much interested in even a legend about any fresh unconquered land so close to their doorstep, have ordered exploration. A small fleet of ships meant to set off from Neverwinter. Adventurers, archeologists, soldiers, and other staff stacked over three ships, along with all their gear and supplies. The Sword Coast being the closest civilized land means almost nothing when it comes to a nearly two-month journey by ship. Your party has been tasked with leading the mapping and location of any peoples, cities, or resources. The journey’s overseer, Admiral Jowell Arter, is adamant the company claim this land for the Alliance at any cost.
Will the pay be enough recompense for the dangers you and your troupe may face? Will you explore for the sake of discovery? Or fight for the sake of conquest? Find the hidden secrets and places of the Chain, meet the denizens of the islands, and hopefully, make it back to tell the tale. This is a tale of war, of strife. Savage beauty and the ugliness of civility. The perpetual battle set between the ancient ways and a new forged will. There are no easy choices, but history will remember your deeds either way. Find the origin of these legends. Prove your loyalty to the Alliance, or not.
The Legend of Kereteni
Kereteni. Silverside. The Argent Lady, Protector of the Sailing Isles. In the far north, the waters and weather are wild, icy, unforgiving. Many a vessel had set out into the northern seas and been swallowed, taken forever by the treacherous depths. But ever so often, a ship would run aground or be led to a mysterious place hidden in the ice floes. Lured by the bright horn of ancient dragon song. Kereteni was a wise, ancient dragon. One whose silver scales had been warmed by the sun for millennia. She made her home in an unnamed archipelago, protecting the land, and offering hospitality and protection to those lost in the storms so prevalent in her lands. Those under her care thrived and lived in peace. Until that is, the united races of the south invaded. Kereteni was not sure from whence they came, but she fought bravely to safeguard those she had called her children. With so much firepower, however, the Lady fell in the shallow sea of her beloved islands, leaving what was left to ruin, and her own bones to sink to the depths, as stones that none dare tread, lest she awaken
