We have an opening in our Dragon Heist game (with intentions to continue with Dungeon of the Mad Mage). We play Mondays starting at 9 PM Pacific Standard Time. However, we actually get started around 9:15 PM. Generally, we play to midnight, give or take 15 min.
I posted a listing for this game a couple of weeks ago. The person who was going to join us dropped out before actually starting, so the slot is open again. We did make a good effort to work the new character’s story into the plot. The party is just about to free him from some kidnappers. It would be nice if someone could come in and play this guy who is already integrated into the story line. One thing, he’s a Halfling-Bard-Werehorse. All the other details of the character are up to you.
If I can’t find someone open to the halfling-bard-werehorse, I’ll open the slot to about any race/class combo. But, anyone willing to play the halfling-bard-werehorse gets dibs.
The group of players met on Champions of the Twilight, a Discord server dedicated to parents looking for a game to play after the kids go to sleep. So, we're a little older, more mature, and relaxed. We use Discord and Roll20. Message me on Discord at Mango666#1152, if interested.
It's pretty hard to message someone on Discord if one is not already friends with them, and random friends requests on Discord can tend to be a little unwelcome.
With regards to the game, I assume the original player of the halfling-bard-werehorse already gave you some backstory, since you mention that his story has been integrated into the plot. It'd be pretty hard to insert it with no details, so the player who takes it on may require that backstory in order to fit in, and if it's not available then I'm going to have to assume that the warehorse ends up looking a little like this after s/he transforms.
I'd very much like to play Dragon Heist, since I want to get a feel for that particular module.
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: A year or so. Most of my experience comes from writing stories, so expect a lot of roleplay from me. Location/Timezone: GMT Availability: Preferably during the daytime (GMT), but I have been known to play DnD with people at 2am (my time). Preferred role: Player Game style: I very much enjoy roleplay, and I tend to make characters who reflect archetypes or the backstories given to their race by their general description pages. The Gith Vengeance paladin I play in a different game isn't a murderhobo, but only because the other players prevent him from setting fire to things via persuasion; I play him the same way every time, so they know how to deal with him, and realise that as reasonable as I am, the character is clearly separate.
