Hi, my name’s Josh; Philly area/EST time zone player, looking to play 5e as a Monk, Ranger, Rogue, or Warlock, depending on what’s the best fit for the party. I can play whenever, except for Thursdays and Sundays; I’m on Discord and Roll20 for virtual sessions, I’m vaxxed and boosted for IRL sessions within 25 miles of Philly, although I’d ask the other players be vaxxed as well. Happy to play with folks from any walk of life, although age-wise, I’m in my 30s, and would like to play with folks in their 20s/30s/40s.
Game wise, I like casual but sincere games, with a nice balance of RP and combat. I like a good brawl, but I also like when encounters can be subverted, solved diplomatically, or goosed in the players’ favor with some clever environmental planning/hail Marys. Not a fan of min/maxing or heavily-pop-culture-referential campaigns, but a little bit of either’s no problem. I have a Lvl 1 Tabaxi Monk rolled up, but I can roll a new character for better party balance/role fulfillment.
