5e Looking for 4 players. Beginners welcome!

Game: D&D 5e
Group type: Online (Roll20/Discord)
Experience: 6 Years running 5e, Palladium and Cortex, as well as being a player in a few other systems.
Location/Timezone: UK (BST)
Schedule: Bi-Weekly, Thursdays, 8pm UK time. Some flexibility in that, provided it doesn't go ridiculously late for me.
Roles sought: 4 player slots available. Maybe 5 if I have enough applications I like and can't decide between 2.
Game style: 18+. Dark fantasy. Witcher and GoT levels of violence and adult themes. No overtly sexual stuff though (fade to black on anything like that). Set in a homebrew world, you will all start as slaves, with bindings that sap your strength and make it impossible to use magic.

I would like to get started playing D&D again. I am a former player from childhood. I never used any virtual table top but I am fascinated with the idea. I am willing to learn from scratch if need to. My favorite classes to play is Ranger and Paladins, but I willing to create any class or race that fits the campaign

5E Experience: Dabbled a bit as a player (around six sessions, game died for sheduling issues but it was a fun local group). DM-ed exactly 3 times, one homebrewed adventure (believe it or not, it was some sort of a monster-hunt situation that borrowed a little bit of inspiration from The Witcher 3 game (quest structure), and the other two were Phandelver for workplace friends to introduce them to the hobby, and we're supposed to pick it back up again soon-ish, no hard date, though. So I'm still learning the ropes.

Character Ideas: I would like to run some sort of water genasi cleric of the forge (Hoping to be a master weapon and armor smith craftsman). Would like to play a support/healer character. Or a dragonborn pally of Bahamut  (or your homebrewed equivilant of Bahamut if possible) (Haven't decided on which oath my paladin should take)

Something interesting: I have no idea what to mention here, but I'll tell you a bit about myself; I'm a little shy but trying my best to be sociable around new people, this is why I want to play and get into TTRPG to combine my love for fantasy and gaming.

Why I want to join this game: I like darker elements of fantasy, definitely enjoyed The Witcher game series and Dragon Age (if that counts).
