LFP for homebrew competition campaign

I have a campaign I wish to run where there are two groups competing in a tournament. Aside from occasional events where the two groups can interact everything else is done in two separate campaigns with neither group really knowing yheir standing at first.

The world it takes place in homebrew of my creation and the campaign itself extends after the tournament tracking the travels and adventures of the winners and the not winners lol.
