What: I will be running a two-part 5E game/class for new players with either zero D&D experience, or zero online vtt experience.
First Sunday we will have a Session Zero, and make characters and discuss character options and backgrounds, and just get to know the character sheet and have fun.
Second Sunday we will play through a One-shot, or part of an adventure. This is so that you can get a feel for game mechanics, roleplaying, a vtt (virtual tabletop), and get to see if this is something you want to pursue further.
How: We will be using a combination of Discord for voice chat and sharing documents, dndbeyond for character sheets and content, and the free Abovevtt plugin/extension for our gaming table. We could add syrinscape in there as well for some fun audio immersion, but it’s not 100% necessary for what we’ll be doing.
Will probably have to cap this at about 6 people every two weeks, so if I get a lot of requests there could be a bit of a wait.
