the star gazer has appeared and is going to kill everyone

you brave adventurers shall be tasked with defeating it and banishing it back into the abyss

okay with that out of the way let's get technical

you can't use magic till you are level 3 or above (you get magical abilities from the great old ones as they kinda hate the star gazer) 

guns exist and replace bow and arrows (just more dmg from the bow and longer range)

you can only be a human but can change it as you level up (you choose a race your character eventually becomes then as they level up they get more traits of that race)

you start at level 1
