Hello.

New player this week. Played first session (hopefully of many) and hoping to get into another on weekends. I know very little about the campaigns but I'm already playing wilds beyond the witchlight and was hoping for a different story.

What time on saturday and for how long would these games last each day?

Edit: More into rp than rigorous combat personally.

I'm happy to get in touch over discord if that's easier.

Huh.  Odyssey of the Dragonlords stretching its lead with 4/10 votes.  I'd better start reading...  Hoping to get at least 20 votes before I declare a winner, though.

I'd never heard of it, but it DOES seem extremely interesting.  Depending on your rate, I'd be interested in hearing more.

It does seem like a cool campaign.  My usual rate is $15, but I am leaning toward raising it to $20 for the premium Saturday night time slot.  At any rate, if you’ve commented here you will get updates.

Start your own Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition Adventure Path!  Campaigns will run from Level 1 to 12 (at least), and will be customized to your characters.  We'll leave out the parts that aren't fun, and integrate your character backgrounds into the setting.

About me:

Hi, there!  I have been running Dungeons & Dragons regularly since 2008, and I currently focus on D&D 5th edition.  I've run games for players from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels, including volunteering as a DM with kids and young adults with autism.

I love introducing the game to new players, so if you're unsure of the rules, give one of my games a try! I will work with players to make a safe space for LGTBQ+ players, players of colour and players with neurodiversity.

How to prepare
Players should have a mic (webcam is optional), and should install the Free Demo version of Fantasy Grounds Unity.

What I provide
DM is a Fantasy Grounds Unity Ultimate license holder (no cost to join or download Fantasy Grounds).

Gameplay Details
This will be a campaign for mature players.  We will discuss safety tools, including Lines & Veils. For example, a Line that I won't cross is any depiction of sexual assault, and I am happy to leave in-game depictions of consensual sex behind a Veil. Players will get every opportunity to define their own boundaries.

How will character creation work?
Players may participate in a 'Session 0' for character generation. Characters can be created in D&D Beyond and imported, or created from the ground up in Fantasy Grounds.  Standard array or point buy

Why pay to play D&D?

There are lots of reasons that a player might have trouble finding a consistently reliable DM for a campaign.  I simply will not flake or ghost on you.

Here are the facts:

• You have the ability to leave the campaign at any time, and the only way I can get you to stay is by providing high-quality entertainment that makes you feel you are getting value.
• You will be playing with other players who have decided that gaming is important enough to them that they are willing to pay.
• I am constantly investing in new content - maps, tokens, audio and new adventures

I have multiple campaigns right now that are over 30 paid weekly sessions--would these players still be paying me if they weren't having a great time?

I'm new to D&D could someone teach me how 2 play?

Oops!  Sorry, just saw this--didn't get a notification that someone had replied. 

Absolutely no problem teaching a new player the game!  On every turn, I will give you an idea of what your options are.  You tell me what you want to do, and if it requires a dice roll, I will let you know.
