Just a new player hoping to find a game that lasts

Been into a few different campaigns so far, but the scheduling issues plague dnd and mean that I still have very little experience, unfortunately. 

I am open on classes/roles in the party and interested in most types of games. Really just looking to have a fun time and really get to know the game. Ask any questions as you see fit, hopefully we can all find a group that clicks right? :)
