I like a mix of role-play and combat, I’m good at coming up with characters with interesting backgrounds for the DM, and my preferred class is usually a Paladin, Fighter, or other melee type.
As an example of the kinds of characters I like to play, here’s one I’d like to play in a Curse of Strahd (or general Ravenloft) campaign.
