Game: Pathfinder 1E Group Type: Online Exp: Veteran Timezone: Eastern Standard Time Schedule: Evenings any day wed-sunday, flexible based on player needs, 1/week Roles: Four Players Game Style: Tactical Combat, Cityscape, Meme Garbage
Other pertinent Info >Players who are 18+ >Pathfinder can be pretty daunting for a new player, but if you're up to the challenge, I'm willing to help >I plan on using a mixture of a websites called https://rolz.org/ for all of our dice needs and Discord+some art programs for battle maps and other custom content (more info later) >The campaign will be of my own design in my own world that I've been tinkering with over the years >I tend to prefer sessions on the longer side, like 4-5+ hours >I steal content from all kinds of sources of media like youtube/twitch, anime, games etc.
About the Setting
The bulk of the content will happen within a single dense city. That isn't to say you won't be leaving the city, but everything will be connected to the city somehow.
Dragon's Den! A once quaint port town where most folks are nice...Or were nice anyway. After the failed surface takeover of drow, scoundrels and bandits have swarmed in and decided to make this city their home. In the past decade it's only been getting worse and worse. Your (currently) nameless guild (with cookies) seeks to improve this city back to state it once was. There is much to do! Rumors of all kinds pass through the inns and taverns. Grave robberies, demon cults, mutant sharks in the waters surrounding the city. Communities of goblins and tieflings are scapegoats. Many hands point to the rich and monstrous in town, but the more reasonable people point at the pirates and other sources of organized crime. Some even suggest that the namesake of the town now refers to an evil dragon that pulls all the strings behind the scenes...But those are just rumors...Probably. Outside forces from the Land of Storms seek to restore order, but they're spread thin across the world fixing all the problems caused by the destruction in the wake of the drow invasion. It's up to the people of Dragon's Den to solve their own problems. And that's where you guys step in.
What am I paying For?
Commitment: Players and DMs are both more consistent when it comes to showing up and showing up ready to play when they're invested. In this case, you're investing cash (and my bills so I can keep doing this!). I don't wanna him and haw around the dream of playing dnd, I wanna play it, and the cash shows me that you do to.
And the real kicker...
Custom Content: My love for this game has made me into an artist! This manifests into me drawing my own characters, making memes of characters, drawing all kinds of hilarious/awesome moments. On favorite I've picked up on is making session recaps with a full calendar to remind us what has happened in the past. A big file where you can look back on it and see all the cool stuff you did in the adventure! I'll also draw all the fine details of your guild hall so you can easily visualize your guilds growth over time. But don't just take my word for it, looky down here at some of the NPCs I've drawn (I like tieflings a lot).
And the moment you've all been waiting for...The price tag
$50 a session per person
Payments made through paypal, unless you got any better ideas
Pathfinder Specific Details
>There are very useful resources in websites like the https://www.d20pfsrd.com/ and https://aonprd.com/Default.aspx to look up all kinds of things that I use constantly that will substitute books like 5e's player handbook. Highly recommend bookmarking those. >I plan to use a 20 point buy (rules: https://www.d20pfsrd.com/basics-ability-scores/ability-scores) >I plan to use automatic bonus progression (rules: https://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/other-rules/unchained-rules/automatic-bonus-progression/) >3rd party content can be pretty iffy, so run it by me and I'll decide >I have a TON of stuff that I've made for this game. Classes, races, templates and monsters oh my! >There are plenty of house rules I use that we can discuss. I am absolutely going to alter the game (like the jank flat-footed rules, even bonus progression has its problems)
