Hi, 

I am looking for a group to join as a new player.  I prefer a group of new players with an experienced DM, but I will join an experienced group if they are okay with a new player.

Either (prefer a face-to-face group, but will play online if I have to)

Experience: 

New - I have never played D&D before, so I would need some help until I get used to the game and its rules.

Online: Any country, any timezone (but I can only speak English).

Face-to-Face: Available any day, anywhere within Tyne and Wear, while public transport is in operation.

Game style: 

I am looking for a story-driven group of light role-players (people who enjoy playing as their characters, rather than only by the numbers); however, my roleplaying experience is limited, as I have only role played as a few characters from science fiction and anime, and I have limited acting experience, in that I can't do voices etc.  

I do not want to play in a hack-n-slash or survival game.  

I like stories and mysteries interposed with combat and drama, but not where the fighting is the main focus.  

I have made a character that I would like to play: https://ddb.ac/characters/69627241/GGd4IY.  At present, my character is mostly built for social encounters, although they do have weapons they can use in combat, I would like to be able to play my character to his strengths.  I am not sure of the direction that I want to go with him in the future.  

I am looking for a game that includes some adult themes, but which is not overly graphic.  A game that might be said to be 16+ would be perfect (I am an adult).
