Game: Descent Into Avernus (5/5)

Time: Wednesday / 5PM (PST) ( I plan on starting this upcoming Wednesday, 3/23/22 )
Note: My name is CptStellar and i have a rather exciting experience for a few select individuals that meet my standards. I have been dming for the last 3 or so years and I have chosen to start a small session on Wednesday at around 5 pm PST. I Have just about every campaign and so this session will include some minor homebrew things that I think make the game a little more enjoyable for the average player. Id prefer people who have some experience playing but I am welcoming new players aswell. Something to expect is that we will eventually be running Descent into Avernus Campaign after the intro quest chain I will personally set up so the party can meet up together and have a common goal. Sadly i find hosting more then 5 people to be a less then enjoyable experience for alot of players so i only have 5 slots available which will go to the first 5 people that message me on discord and after i ask a few basic questions just to get a feel for who im hosting for. I'd be interested, but forgive me for replying (you gave the option!) instead of filling out the survey. I'll list the classes I'd like to play in order of preference, but I'm willing to be the "wild card" and fill out whatever class is lacking.
1. GNOME WIZARD, leaning towards SCHOOL OF DIVINATION; a jovial motor-mouth
2. HUMAN CLERIC, PEACE DOMAIN; a healer who tries his best to not engage in violence (but will when necessary)
3. HUMAN BARD, SCHOOL OF LORE; a support-/enchancement-class
I enjoy roleplaying, puzzles, riddles, and outside-the-box approaches to problems. Not a huge fan of hack-n-slash, though, so if DESCENT INTO AVERNUS is mostly hack-n-slash, let me know please.
I've played 5E actively for 3 years, always as DM. I was part of the 5E Playtest (DND Next), and I've played since the late 80's with 2nd Edition until 3.5; then I quit until DND Next/5E. I've rarely had the chance to play a PC as I'm almost always "nominated" to DM, so i'm pretty excited to actually play.
