What's this? A renowned (wizard/witch/wix) such as yourself has been summoned by the king? And by the looks of this letter, this is an urgent matter. The King of Zebrowka's youngest son has been missing for over a month, and rumor has spread that the evil rogue, The Wizard Crowley, is responsible for his kidnapping. But between the war against Saint Lutz, and the surprising outbreak of traitorous sorcerers, the king has entrusted five magicians of the moor to help recover his son and capture The Wizard Crowley instead. Are you up to the task?

Hello! This is the first campaign I've ever hosted as a DM, but not to worry, I'm not clueless :) I've played several campaigns before and understand the overall gist, rules, etc of how to be a good DM. I decided that since this is my first campaign, I should start with something small and simple! Thus, a Studio Ghibli themed Campaign full of warm, cozy, wholesome roleplaying scenarios/events along with a Hayao Miyazaki inspired plot/characters. This campaign, as I stated, is more roleplay heavy to help beginner players understand DnD without the pressure of a super serious plot. (or for those just looking to have some fun).
If you're interested, you can respond with this form by PM :)

Favorite Studio Ghibli Movie(s) and Why?
A little bit about you?
Favorite color and song?
What kind of idea for a theme & personality do you think you'd like your wizard/witch/wix to have? ( you can be anything from a witch of mushrooms who lives in a cottage to a dashing young wizard who lives by the sea. The world is your oyster, have fun!)
Questions? ~~~~
Disclaimer: 1) This is a VERY simplified version of DnD & a homebrew, so the world functions by me and Hayao Miyazaki's rules 2) since this is a studio ghibli campaign, i'd like to please ask that your characters/decisions/roleplaying match the overall soft, whimsical aesthetic that studio ghibli has! It would be very appreciated 3) if you're 20+, please let me know! We want to create a safe and comfortable environment for younger players. 4) You need to be able to write descriptive replies in the roleplay! That means good grammar and english.
Two Spots Left! (also added additional info about the RP, where to contact, and other important information to be aware of if you plan to join this campaign)
Hello! I plan that once I have all five members together, I'll give everyone an OC sheet to fill out! And just as long as your customizable character matches the mechanics and overall aesthetic of the campaign, I see no problem with it! That was my intention anyhow was to give everyone the laidback freedom of customizing their character. The only thing that CANNOT be customized is race and whether you play a wizard/witch/or wix. *Homebrew means that I don't stick to the rules and classes of normal DnD and make up my own. If you're interested in joining, I'd really appreciate if you fill out the small form I provided! (❁´◡`❁) thank you!
(ps. please make sure to read all the provided information I've given in the thread! It'll tell you almost everything you need to know)
Well welcome! No need to worry about experience as long as you are a relatively good writer. This campaign is laid back and calm, so it's not SUPER serious. It IS text based though and roleplay heavy, which means that it's mostly surrounded around roleplaying and it's all done through a chat! But you don't need to know the gritty details like constitution, etc, when it comes to DnD. This campaign is for fun! If you're interested, you can fill out the form I made and send it to me. Do you know how to roleplay in text? I can send you an example if you don't know!

I am VERY new to D&D and this would literally be my first ever game, but I am really interested by the prospect of a Ghibli-based Campaign.
