[FREE] Curse of Strahd Saturdays 7pm cst LGBTQ+ only

Howdy there internet people;

I plan (3rd attempt but who is counting? lol) at running CoS. A huge problem I have encountered is that people stay then half way through the module (usually around the holidays) start dropping out. But I am not going to give up running this module. Speaking of Curse of Strahd, I am running it my way. 18+ are allowed to join. As for me personally, I have been DM;ing since jesus was a Corporal. I am a tri-athalete  (ya shocking aint it for an old white guy lol). Below is a link and description for the campaign:

Each session will run 3 hours or so. We are all LGBTQ+ players and DM, so if you are not comfortable playing with us do not apply. Also note: This campaign will not go exactly like the module.

The campaign world will nominally be set in Forgotten Realms but with the following caveats: The campaign begins in the Village of Hommlet. The campaign is not just Forgotten Realms, but will include elements of Ravenloft , Greyhawk, Frank Herbert's Dune, Thieves World, Call of Cthuhlu (HP Lovecraft), Conan (Robert E Howard), Heavy Metal (the movie), Alien and so on. This campaign will have a horror / high fantasy/ Sci-Fi feel to it so bear that in mind when applying. You will start at level 2 with campaign going to level 20 or there abouts.

NOTE: I will cancel games if one person fails to make the game. I will boot you if you cancel a session, I do not care what the circumstances are. No Mercy!

Rules and Regulations:
1. Must have Voice (discord) No exceptions.Video is optional.
2. What is allowed: PHB [EXC: NO Dragonborne]. Anything from Tasha's, Xanthars and Mordinkainians will need to be approved by me and on a case by case basis. So do not expect to play your Air Genisi Warlock Paladin automatically. NO UA or Homebrew! Races outside of the PHB will need to be approved by me IE so if you want to play a half elf, half goblin dampire I will need to approve such a thing.
3. Do not meta game monsters or CR level, they are subject to change at the DM's discretion.
4. Alignments can be any.
5. Be aware that I might include some rules like horror rolls and what not from the DMG.
6. Milestone leveling will be in effect.
7. All players will start at 2nd Level with max HP. 75GP but no magic item purchases (+backround gold) and base scores of 10 with a 27 point buy or roll 4d6 dropping the lowest die. Roll 7 times dropping the lowest score.
8. Only Rogues may detect traps and/ or disable them.
9. Variant Humans are allowed out of the PHB.

Me: I am a 57 year old very fit (I am a tr-athelete) white guy that has been DM'ing and playing D&D and many other RPG's since Jesus was a freakin Corporal. My DM'ing style is fast paced. My rules knowledge is good but not perfect. I am ex military (Navy and Army) so expect a well presented and organized game.

Please have a good mic, no background noise and Fluent in the English language.

Hello, I would absolutely love to play in the campaign! I have been playing dnd for a couple of years at this point, but mostly have experience as a DM. I still have some experience as a player, and am looking for a longer term campaign to get involved with. CoS has always seemed super cool to me, so I would thoroughly enjoy playing in it.
