TLDR Information: Name/Age: Katie (Akira preferred), 32 Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: Just under 3 years. Location/Timezone: CST Availability: All day Tuesday/Wednesday, early mornings and evenings preferred. Preferred role: Player Game style: I prefer roleplay heavy campaigns, but I of course enjoy the occasional combat. I tend to get very invested into my character and the world, and I love seeing her challenged and having consequences for my actions, both positive and negative. Character growth is huge for me, which does extend to seeing NPCs grow and evolve in the world. I'm not interested in one-shots, only campaigns.
More information: (Copied from an lfg post I made on r/lfg)
I'm a 32 years old woman. I've been playing D&D 5e for almost 3 years now, and it's the only TTRPG I've played. Before that, I was always big into roleplaying video games, and as a young child I'd often get lost in roleplaying chat rooms, forums or on instant messengers with my friends. I love to create a character and really delve into her as a person. I immerse myself into who she is and what she loves, hates or believes in. I don't let this bleed over into real life/out of game. While I love in-game drama, it begins and ends there. If I have issues with a player, or a DM, I reach out and let it be known to relevant parties and try to resolve the issues in a way that works best for everyone.
I'm a big fan of homebrew, and I love trying out new things. In one campaign I play in, my DM lets me play as a Pugilist by Benjamin Huffman. I absolutely love it and it makes me feel super unique and even cooler than usual. If you allow homebrew classes at your table, I do enjoy playing and diving into them when I can. If you ban official classes(Artificer is a common target), please reconsider messaging me, as I don't appreciate heavy-handed limitations on character creation.
Here's a few other random tidbits as well, mostly as far as my etiquette:
I always arrive to sessions 100% prepared and ready to go.
I do my best to never interrupt others when speaking.
I efficiently take my turn, silently planning for it during other players turns.
I never butt in on another player's moment to shine, unless they invite me.
I stay focused and pay attention during a session and have minimal interruptions.
I have a high quality mic and a reasonably quiet gaming space.
I tend to show up 15 minutes early, and on the rare cases I can't make it, I inform the group ASAP.
I don't derail my DM's campaign with shenanigans.
My Discord is always on, and if I'm awake, I'll usually respond promptly.
Any questions, please feel free to message me directly. And, if I seem like a player you'd like to invite into your campaign, shoot me a message and let me know a bit about the group and the campaign. I'd prefer to start in a fresh group, but I'm not opposed to one that's a few sessions in either. Not really into one shots, just campaigns. Much love all, and thank you for your time!
Your profile is of interest in my campaigns, needing a boost in roleplay, but Tuesday +Wednesday 9h30am CST is exactly when i'm busy dming in French, so i wonder whether you have another timeslot, like every Monday 10h30am EST?

And, if I do join you, expect me to make a little homebrewery sheet for my character, as I do for every PC I've played. Here's an example:
