Explore subterranean labyrinths! Plunder hoards of treasure! Battle legendary monsters!A Beginner Adventure for Levels 1-5The Lost Mine of Phandelver from the Dungeons & Dragons Starter is the perfect introduction to the world’s greatest roleplaying game. Journey to the Forgotten Realms to the town of Phandelver and rediscover the ancient mine lost thousands of years ago.
Lost mine of phandelver is an excellent place to start with D&D if you're not sure. For existing players, this is a chance to get in at the beginning of a new campaign, which is always a good thing! I'll be tweaking the source material sufficiently to keep it interesting if you've played it before, so come by and have a go! I'll be subbing out a couple of key characters, mixing up some encounters and lending my own voice to everyone else, so you can't, for example, decide to keep an eye on the ground on your way up to the waterfall cave, because you KNOW there's a pit trap there. Gets me every time. Because each DM is unique, and my particular style may not be for everyone, your first session is free so you can decide whether this game is right for you.
About me:I'm 29 years old and based in England. I've been playing D&D since I was about 14... Which now that I say it is actually more than half of my life at this stage. Having learned from an old.school DM, my style has always made liberal use of theatre of the mind. I am now making fuller use of the features available on roll20 to improve the flow of the game, though as I tend towards running a flexible game affording the players a great deal of control over their experience at times focus is liable to lean back towards theatre of the mind as and when players do unexpected stuff. This game is £11 GBP (or your local equivalent) per week via PayPal. That having being said, I am happy for players who are new to my games to have a week free so they can get a feel for my style. Currently I'm not running any other D&D, but I'm in the process of opening my own games shop, and run in person hobby groups for Pokemon, MTG, Warhammer and more!
3/5 Players need two more, please post application on Roll20 here.
Current Characters - Tails, Glasses.
"Retired" Characters - Ears, don't split the party.
