Beginner Friendly Lost Mine of Phandelver

The module we will be playing together is Lost Mine of Phandelver.

It's a module set within the Sword Coast region near Neverwinter Wood and the troubled frontier mining town of Phandalin. It's got mystery, adventure, moral quandaries, dangerous wilds, goblins, dungeons and perhaps even... dragons! It's all waiting for you and your new party members to jump right in and explore.

This experience is an officially published D&D module that brings players from level 1 to level 5, tailored towards those of you who are new to TTRPGs and are eager to take your first steps into this amazing and life changing hobby. I have run many games introducing beginners to the system and this module is specifically written with newcomers in mind so if you've been meaning to try D&D for a while now but have been hesitant due to your lack of experience, then this is the game for you!

Helping and watching people learn the game and see what an amazing experience D&D can be is what i'm passionate about and I will be running these games with patience and understanding for people just getting to grips with the rules. Intermediate and advanced players are welcome too but with the understanding that we will be playing at beginner pace.

Free Session Zero:

I provide a free Session Zero before we start the module. This is a short session before the actual game starts where I explain some essential stuff and offer help in certain areas such as:

~ Character creation
~ Crafting character backstories
~ Game mechanics you might be unsure of
~ House rules
~ Discord server info
~ Roll20 instruction
~ Figuring out what players are/are not comfortable with**
~ Short and easygoing combat encounter where you can get to grips with the basic combat mechanics

Waterdeep: Dragon Heist

The module we will be playing is Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, an officially published product I will be running from level 5 to 10. It's an excellent module with plenty of role-play opportunities, mystery, intrigue, devious villains, shadowy gangs struggling for power and a grand fortune to chase, all set within the vibrant City of Splendours: Waterdeep. This module would be best suited to intermediate players who are most interested in an urban setting, role-play, downtime and intrigue but beginners/advanced players are also welcome!
