I am currently a player in a wonderful 5e play by post discord server! Its set in a homebrew world and the players are a member of a guild. There's random encounters as you take your character through the vast world, there's adventures where you join up with other guild members (like your typical session), and then there's quests that get posted on the guild's notice board that act kind of like side quests that you can attempt (dice gods willing) solo or you can join up with other willing characters to complete the task. In between adventures, you can have your character do gathering activities for fish, herbs to help make potions, ore for weapons and armor, and even hunt wild animals for their hide. All of the things you can gather you can sell in the guild's store for coin! I will be upfront and honest, there are currently about 10 active members currently so please don't go in expecting a mega large server.
