Briefly describe what you're looking for in a gaming experience: A good mix of everything, RP, Exploration, Combat. The most important thing to me is game balance. No OP homebrew of any kind. Balanced Homebrew perfectly fine. Example: Some sort of techno class with unlimited grenades. Unlimited grenades are unlimited fireballs, even worse if they are alternate damage type, because it makes some subclasses worthless. In a balanced game, grenades are like spell slots, with roughly the same amount and damage of a spell of equal level.
Your D&D experience: none / beginner / intermediate / expert: Player and DM since 1985, I started the day the original Oriental Adventures was released...I have played every edition of D&D and many other RP games games, some which are still around, like Vampire the Masquerade and Cthulhu, some which shouldn't be around like Role Master, and some long forgotten greats like Albedo Anthropomorphics.

I prefer to play true caster classes, but if need be, I can play sword and board, or anything in between. I don't do edgelords though. I think it destroys the team play and party dynamic.

Briefly describe what you're looking for in a gaming experience: Honestly a nice atmosphere where people are happy to have a bit of a laugh and a joke. And a group that isn’t super serious power gamers. I enjoy making multi class characters or characters who have quirks.
Your D&D experience: none / beginner / intermediate / expert: Beginner, had my first game last November with some online friends (4 players) We also did a one shot with another group (6 players) and now do a campaign every other Sunday (4 players). I did get heavily into watching/listening to DnD over lockdown though. Oxventure, VLDL and Unprepared Casters would be my top three

I do have a few characters that are already built that I think would be really fun, though most work from lvl 2.
anyway, current character is Nilrem (Remmy). An Owlin sorcerer/wizard who has a pet slime familiar. He was born a sorcerer but always wanted to make his own magic, and hates that he couldn’t. So he went to a magic school to research magic, becoming an order of scribes wizard. “The first step to making magic, is to modify magic”. He’s only lvl 3 at the moment and has a tendency to fluff his rolls…yet when I shocking grasp via slime it seems to do well…
One random interessing / fun thing (does not have to be D&D related) Not sure if interesting is the right word, but I love making DnD characters and getting art of them. I have a few built up so far though I’ve not been at it long. My latest is a Vedalkin Artificer/Wizard who makes puppets on a string and uses them in fights. But who also can use an axe as she chops/drys her own lumber to make the dolls. Her name is Marianna O’nette (Mari for short), but she just can’t think of a name to call these dolls she makes… so she keeps calling them odd things when referring to them. (And yes, her name Mari O’nette…. Marionette… it’s a silly little joke but I like that the perfect word she can never think of is actually her name)
anyway, I work pretty much full time.
if sessions are after 6:30 UK then I am good whatever day (though at Christmas I do Thursday late nights for midnight shopping). If it’s a time before that then I’d probably need to ask my boss for a specific day off since my shifts always vary.

Briefly describe what you're looking for in a gaming experience: I've listened to far more podcasts than I would like to admit about Dungeons and Dragons, working a 12-hour shift with no one else around will do that to you. It seems like it's a lot of fun, a game that would like you to apply your brain to it and you can do some really wacky things if you start thinking outside the box. Coming together and just having a grand old time slaying and chilling sounds like a lot of fun.
