Looking for Group to Play

Hi all, I am currently in one campaign but would like to get in another and am looking for a group to play in.

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online preferred but I am open to face to face as well
Experience: Fairly new as it pertains to gameplay but I am familiar with the rules and have been watching videos online of campaigns
Location/Timezone: Pacific Standard Time
Availability: Wednesday or Thursday starting at 2:30 PM
Preferred role: Player
Game style: I am more into the leveling and maxing out a character aspect of D&D rather than the roleplaying/ background of it. I enjoy seeking out the best class / race combo and which weapons, skills and spells mold my character into the best he can be. I currently have the idea for an Elf Ranger but am willing to create a character based upon the groups needs.
