[UPDATE: I've since decided to use this time to teach some friends from Uni how to play D&D using the time slot and game below. I have taken your usernames down just in case D&D isn't a good fit for them so that I can reach out at a later date. If by then you've found a fit somewhere else, I won't be offended at all. Hi everyone! I'm George, I've been playing D&D for a few years. I currently DM a homebrew campaign and play in 3 other sessions. I have decided to try running a module for the first time!
I'm looking for a group of maybe 4-5 UK players to run through Frozen Sick, a free adventure module that takes your characters from levels 1-3. Once we complete that module (I've been told it takes about 4-6 sessions?), we will move into a homebrew expansion of Frozen Sick that sends you into Wildemount to solve a deeper mystery, probably taking you to (at least) about level 6/7. I'm not too sure about my availability past that but theres a potential to continue if we vibe!
ADMIN & GAME STYLE
Planning to run Sundays 2pm-6pm in UK Time (That's GMT+1 aka BST at the moment).
Looking for 4-5 players with some experience playing D&D.
Leaning into Aabriya Iyengar's style of generous inspiration and rule bending for this campaign!
Planning to use D&D Beyond for character creation with Beyond 20 (chrome extension) integration to run the maps on Roll 20.
Discord for communication, I'm encouraging camera but its not required. Voice chat is essential!
I am a free DM (woo!) and all the sessions are free to play - all I ask is that you only join if you're committed to being free on Sundays (life does happen & we may have to adjust sometimes but I'm sure we can make it wrk)
CHARACTER CREATION
I'm hoping for some fun and inventive characters; optimised builds and min-maxing will not get you very far! Always happy to talk shop about character ideas!
I have a large amount of content to share on D&D Beyond, you're welcome to use anything I have access to (anything else you have should be fine!).
Stats are done via Point Buy.
Twilight Domain Cleric I am so sorry but as much as I am against banning any spells/races/classes, this subclass is just too overpowered in my opinion and is disallowed.
If you're interested please reply below with the following and I'll reach out to those I pick - this ad is going elsewhere beyond DDB so I may unexpectedly stop accepting invites!
How much D&D experience do you have? (If you're on the newer end, its alright!)
What class/race do you have in mind, if any?
Are you the kind of player to take charge and make decisions, or someone who sits back and watches what happens?

I have played in a one shot and DM a campaign for my little brother. Prior to this played role-playing games such as Masion of Madness. Wanting to hopefully find a good group and make some new friends with the greatest game ove ever played
What class/race do you have in mind, if any?
Currently I am toying with a Eladrim Artifcer, tragic backstory currently written in a way that the world we play in can be added to it and expand it. I am hoping at some point to multi class in the Wizard Bladesinger from TCoE at Level 4 but can change my plans based on the game we are playing
Are you the kind of player to take charge and make decisions, or someone who sits back and watches what happens?
I'm the type of player that make choices based on my character, for example if im playing a vain, foolhardy warrior I'll jump ill first, a cold but calculate Rogue I wait for the best option to appear. My current plans PC is very chaotic doenst plan and based on being free.
Have you played the module before?
I have not, I would be going in blind apart from references to Critcal Role C2
Hi, I'm Chris! Looking for a group to adventure with and would love to play in Exandria!
1. How much D&D experience do you have? I've been playing for about a year and a half, with a long campaign and a few one shots
2. What class/race do you have in mind, if any? Thinking about a fighter (BM), perhaps a monstrous race, but open to tinkering and fitting the overall party
3. Are you the kind of player to take charge and make decisions, or someone who sits back and watches what happens? Obviously depends on the character, but I do enjoy taking an active approach and trying to impact the story and interact with the world as much as possible, even if that happens to be through stumbling in the dark and suffering from indecision as the PC
4. Have you played the module before? No, I haven't - getting a chance to play in Wildemount would be a very exciting first
1. Have DMed 2 (very) small campaigns with freinds and have blindly consumed much DnD content for years, have had experience playing NPCs but would love to play a properly Established Character!
2. have at least 3 different builds for interesting character concepts that I can pick between depending on what the vibe of the group is like, i prefer Spellcasters and am currently leaning towards a Druid of the Shephard or a Celestial Warlock, but am mainly interested in fun roleplay and out of combat shenanigans character-wise!
3. Definitely more of an involved player, (will get into character a lot!)
4. Never, but I love the idea of going in (semi) blind
Hey! This sounds like a lot of fun and I'd love to tag along. More than happy to come on video.
i) I've been playing for about 2 years but recently took a 6 month break and looking to get back into it. Played all of Out of the Abyss as well as one homebrew campaign
ii) Love creating character concepts so I've got quite a few in my back pocket that could be put into play. Probably look toward going Wizard, Paladin or Arcane Tricktster. All with complete backtstories but would love to chat about how we could tie this into the game world especially if doing a homebrew angle.
iii) Love getting involved and happy to lead but also happy to let others have the spotlight. Whatever fits the game dynamic I am flexible.
Hello, I'd love to join if there are still any openings.
1. I've been playing 5e for the better part of two years. That includes time as both a DM and as a player, both with official modules and some with homebrew, both campaigns (though none of those have yet been able to get too far) and one-shots.
2. I have a lot of ideas, and I like to consider group composition before settling on one. Right now, though, the one that has inhabited my head the most is a human (probably) rogue.
3. I often like to sit and let others take the lead, but if no one's stepping forward or I can see that something needs to be done, I'm happy to take charge.
1. Couple of years now. 2. It would depend on the rest of the party's make up, but likely a martial of some kind as that's my comfort zone. Fighter/Barbarian/Monk kinda thing. 3. I'm a mixture of both. I'm happy to sit back and let others take the lead, but I'm also happy to step forward and take charge. I'm generally the dumbass that presses the red button too, if that's worth anything. It also depends on my character. 4. Nope!
