New to D&D, Looking for Campaign to join

Hello all!

Looking to get into D&D properly. From the Houston, TX area, and 30 y/o. Already rolled a character: https://ddb.ac/characters/67406305/csGoFZ. (Got a thing for spellcasters; Has some levels from some test play session at my local comics store with their “intro” DM) Totally up for re-rolling if needed to join a campaign. Completely new to this wonderful thing and would like to start my first official campaign with a group on D&D Beyond.
