Amid the bustle of Waterdeep, within the Castle Ward where barristers, nobles, and emissaries battle with word and contract, stands an inn not quite like any other. Before there was a Castle Ward or even what could be recognized as an ancestor of the City of Splendors, there was a dungeon, and in that dungeon begins the tale of the Yawning Portal.
Welcome all adventurers, I'm starting a Tales from the Yawning Portal campaign. We are starting with The Sunless Citadel, and the hope is to run through each of the adventures. So there may be instances where players drop, and new ones come into the game. This will be a bi-weekly campaign, the next session is on May 4th at 7 PM EST. Played with Discord for voice, and Roll20 for actual gameplay.
We currently have the following party makeup: Warlock/Bard, Sorcerer (Shadow), Rogue, Barbarian. The team is currently level 2.

How familiar are you with TTRPG? How long have you been playing? (Being a new player does not exclude you)
What are your favorite pillars in a DnD campaign? Combat? Storytelling? Role Play?
1. 23 2. I have been playing for a couple years now and would say I am pretty familiar with it. 3. I love a good story and roleplaying can be fun when everyone is involved with it. 4. I would probably want to play a Kobold drakewarden ranger or divine soul sorcerer. ranger more so but sorcerer as a backup idea. I am flexible to play almost anything I just personally don't enjoy playing barbs or paladins
How familiar are you with TTRPG? How long have you been playing? Been playing 5th ed for about 4 years but have been playing D&D for about 25.
What are your favorite pillars in a DnD campaign? Combat? Storytelling? Role Play? I enjoy a mix of all of it. World building as a group is my favorite as well as discovering lore but combat and rp are also enjoyable for me.
What kind of character would you like to play? Based on the group listed above, either a Paladin or Cleric. I am flexible though.
Age 54 [if that's too old for you guys, no hard feelings :) ]
How familiar are you with TTRPG? How long have you been playing? I played many TTRPG years ago (2e, GURPS, Cthulu and some others), then online RPG. Coming back to it after a long time, as kids are about to be off to college. I have Mondays and Wednesday free starting at 6pm EST, so your time slot is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm set up on Discord, dndbeyond, and Roll20. Have played a bit on Roll 20 vtt, and like it pretty well.
What are your favorite pillars in a DnD campaign? Combat? Storytelling? Role Play? Your mix of RP/Combat/Thinking sounds pretty good for me. I like problem solving and complex party combat scenarios (which your mix of classes certainly has!). The real fun is in how the party interacts, and I like team building a good vibe so everyone has fun. My only turnoff is people being negative toward each other. Other than that, I'm super easygoing.
What kind of character would you like to play? I like to experiment with different classes, so I'm somewhat flexible. It looks like your party could use a cleric or a paladin, and I definitely enjoy some variation of each of those. Especially since it looks like you've got a dungeon crawl in store! :)
Your campaign idea looks fun. The team should level up quickly, and I really like that part of it. Please add me on Discord : Daqlidor#1226 and good luck. I hope I'm a good fit for your campaign - it looks fun!
2. I'm pretty new to D&D, but have had some experience with TTRPGs in the past. It has been 15 years since I last played though.
3. I think my favorite parts of the campaign would have to be the world building/storytelling with a good splash of combat. Probably a 65:35 mix
4. I've got an idea for a dragonborn paladin taking the Oath of Vengeance, but am flexible if you think the party needs more comprehensive healing capabilities
