Two players looking to play Wed or Thu evening Eastern time

Experience: A few years, we both are well versed in the rules and gameplay

Game style: We both enjoy a good mix of combat and RP, but lean more towards the RP side of things. 

Two IRL buddies (37M, 45M) that want to play some D&D. We've tried having a few campaigns IRL but our friends never seemed to want to commit to more than a one-shot, so we are trying to find a group online that might better fit our playstyle and join a campaign that could last more than one session.

Hello Everyone here!! I am looking to possibly run a game Thursday nights from 7:00PM to 9:00-9:30PM EST. My wife has volleyball those nights and I've been out of a game and really want to get back into it. I would of course have to wrap it up shortly after she gets home which is about the 9:00 ish time frame. So right away I will have to let you know that I would need your help in respecting her in that way. We would of course stop in an appropriate place.

I tried to create a homebrew world but it just got too much for me with my work load so I like running pregens. I have Lost mines of Phandelver, I have the essentials kit campaign "Dragons of Icespire peak" and I also have Ghosts of saltmarsh, which I really want to flesh out. If you guys are interested in anything like that and are okay with a amateur DM. We can try a session 0 or one-shot to see how it goes. I would use DNDbeyond with the Avrea bot on Discord and Roll20. We can discuss play style and all the things you guys would like ahead of time. If I do this for ya'll I really want to do it right. So backstories and alignment, weight and components will play a role but will not be game breaking. But, if that isn't for you we can alter a play style that would match what you want as well.
