Hello fellow DnD players. I am a lone player that has recently lost almost all of their DnD groups due to IRL game-unrelated drama. I am 21 years old and am looking to find a group of 3-4 new friends that I could join as a player for some 5e fun adventures. I have a lot of free time due to my job being fairly simple and allowing for home-office most of the time. I have played 5e for 5 years now and have prior experience with LARP, roleplay guilds in SWTOR and some Czech TTRPGs that I briefly played. I consider myself a veteran as I know many rules by heart and enjoy creating homebrew (Though I had little space and time to playtest any of it, but I have bucketloads of it in my phone's notebook app.) and I played my share of campaigns and oneshots. I have had my fair share of horror stories and so, I have some things that are, for the better or worse, dealbreakers.
Dealbreakers:
Out of game racism, homophobia, sexism and generally bigotry.
Any themes or mentions of sexual assault in and out of game.
Confrontational nature of fellow players/DM - I am sometimes a bit too dense to notice a conflict brewing and am not the best at deescalation. To save me and my potential conflictmate a lot of stress, I am looking for chill people.
Metagaming and PvP without consent or prior out of game discussion or agreement. I have had too much experience with people using out of game information and harming other characters in this usually cooperative game. While I am not against PvP-open games, it must be directly stated and part of the expectations everyone enters the game with.
Severe dislike for roleplay or mechanics, believers in Stormwind Fallacy. I enjoy both roleplay and mechanics and like to build optimised but flavorful and interesting characters who can participate in epic stories of heroism. I am not trying to outplay or munchkin neither fellow players, nor the DM and can adjust my optimisation to fit the difficulty of the gane, but I prefer difficult games to easy ones, so I usually aim to make my characters work really well within the bounds and limitations of their flavor. Still, I don't enjoy dungeon crawls with constant fights and little to no battles. I would like to find a campaign with a story.
You may contact me here or on discord, where I am set as Grilion#9248
