System: D&D 5e Way we Play: Online, using Foundry as VTT, and Discord as medium for both voice (required) and video (recommended) Experience: I've DM'd for about 7 years now, originally all on roll20. I've recently made the switch to Foundry, and am really happy with all the changes and options it provides. Game Style: A homebrewed adventure, designed to be a kick in the groin of classic dungeon crawlers. If you like heavy RP, filled with freedom of choice, and lots of consequences for your (in)actions, then this is a perfect game for you! Looking For: 2-3 players to fill a 5-6 player party. Time and Date: Starting Wednesdays, 8:00PM CET (+2) with Session 0 for a weekly game. Pricing: Session 0 will be free, and sessions beyond that are €10eu per player, per session.
Downtime in Slumberhaven
The Bi-Annual Slumberhaven Winter's festival calls to all weary travellers, with shelter from the snow, and much more to boot!
Among many other things, you can: Eat as much pie as your stomach and wallet can afford! Compete and win big at archery, style it out at the duo's dance-off, witness, commit, or become victim to a murder, battle for the title of the biggest pie eater in the continent, prove you've the best poker face in the local tournament, talk with over a dozen unique characters, each with their own stories and motives, find lost children before they're eaten by goblins, take to the tavern's stage on open stage night, solve many of the town's unsolved mysteries, delve into an abandoned mine, get stabbed, shot, burnt, drowed, frozen, help many of the townsfolk with their problems, enjoy the fireworks, and most important of all: slowly lose your mind to madness have the time of your lives!
Downtime in Slumberhaven is a mystery themed adventure that takes a 6th level party through a day of relaxation and revelry that doesn't quite end up the way they'd liked it to.
Due to it being a mystery themed game, there's only so much I can reveal without causing spoilers, but what I can say is that all the events listed above can, and probably will happen in the adventure!
What this game brings to the table
Fun. If you're not having fun, you get money back. In fact, session 1 is a sort of "free trial", where you can play and decide if you like the game, the other players, and me! Roleplay, rather than Rollplay. Encouraged acting in character, disencouraged metagaming. Many characters will speak, each with their own history, motives, and moods. Reliable Players. The other people are paying, just like you, which means that they're there and committed. You will not have groups dissolve because of lack of participation! Consistency and Quality. Paid games mean you pay for a service. This service means I'll be there, every week, to host a session to the best of my abilities. Outside of the game times, I'll also be available to discuss details and do other things, if there's ever a need to.
Listing will be available until either all slots are filled, or until the 1st of June, when the first proper session will be.
If you find yourself interested in any way, shape, or form, please don't hesistate to shoot me a message on discord at Pool Party Doge#2076
I'm a 33/F looking for a campaign! This game sounds great, I would love to join. If roles haven't been chosen yet, I would like to try out a Kenku Druid. :D
