PLAYERS SELECTED. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO APPLIED!
Hey folks!
I'm going to be running something of a mini campaign/oneshot series (I'm thinking it'll be 3 or so sessions to finish things, but it depends on the party's pacing and what folks wanna delve into). Games will be on Saturdays from 10am PST to 3pm PST. Please show up on time and be available for those five hours.
This is an LGBT+ friendly (and encouraged) space. I myself am a member of said community. There will be no racism, homophobia, etc at my table. I do not want rules lawyers as well. This is an RP-focused game, and I like to go by the rule of cool. Please also be 18+ as I'm in my 20's and I do not feel comfortable playing with minors. We will be using Discord for voice, and Roll20 vtt or theater of the mind. Please have a clear and working microphone! And a basic understanding of D&D mechanics.
PREMISE: The year is 387 Mecha. The time before science and technology? Lost, in hushed whispers or hidden vaults, safe from the generations to come. The world knows that magic once existed before the Age of Mecha. Before the Tried Trials - a series of events that led to the unraveling and ultimate destruction of the Weave of Magic. But what they teach in today's academies is a very narrowed view of history. That magic was only chaos, pain, and horror. That it started wars, laid waste to kingdoms in the blink of an eye, gave inherit power to those who never should have wielded it. And to the few who speak out against such view, who claim magic was also good and warm and wonderful, they find themselves quickly ridiculed by the rest of 'growing society,' or threatened by those in charge. Because such claims are treasonous. The Tried Trials were also bloody ones, and no one should disrespect the dead who gave their lives to see such a bright and safe future.
But what happens when a couple of young and aspiring adventurers suddenly find themselves tossed back in time to an age before Mecha? The 'Dark' Age, as it were. And find out that their history books weren't as keen on details as they should have been? Will they try and alter fate, history, and life as we know it? Or will they make sure to preserve the future that they know? The present that they're a part of.

He hopes to make a name for himself out in the great unknown. / discord: rezpint#6846 / experience: 1-2 years / playstyle: 70% RP and 30% combat. I like to add little detail like picking up a rock to use it in a spell later on in the session.

Character: Warforged Artificer (or Barbarian if not allowed) named A-R3837 nicknamed "Rebby". Created during the Tried Trials to fight on the side against magic, Rebby disagreed with It's makers seeing that it was made from magic and rebelled against the foundry and was deactivated and thrown in storage to remain inactive until further notice.

Experienced player, works well as a team, patient, and loves a good adventure :)
Character: Elf Ranger, Krait "Silver Eye" Montrels. Ex Combat Ranger for the military who stumbles upon a deactivated warforge, after re-enabling it, he went against the Military and was kicked out. So he and the Warforge who goes by the name "Rebby" went to Mercenary work. Silver Eye is a bit of a smart a** but when it comes down to it you can rely on him and his aim.
