Hey there! I'm Gorbey, 28, and I'm returning to D&D after about an 8 month hiatus; ready to shake off the rust! I'm looking for a down-to-earth, mature group of folks closer to my age range (21-35). I'm MST but can work with EST or other time zones depending on how work coincides (Wed, Thurs), though weekends are most open and flexible for me. I prefer a pretty relaxed/friendly table atmosphere with respectful and open-minded individuals. LGBTQ+ friendly is a plus. I love campaigns that have their fair share of laughs and serious feelsy moments. The camaraderie that comes out of D&D is one of my favourite things, I'd be stoked to find a comfortable "home" group to join. I'm more of a story-driven with roleplay moments type of player, though I do still enjoy a healthy balance of combat as well. I love lore/worldbuilding and prefer to build my characters into an existing world if possible. I'd prefer to be a player but I do have some experience DM'ing, usually in the form of seasonal one-shots or short-term campaigns. Not open to paid games. Would prefer a smaller group of 5-6 people max Ideally. Would prefer to play 5E. In the past for online campaigns I'm used to using Discord for communication and have some experience with Roll 20, though I'm always open to learn (and learn more) with other VTT options! Theater of the mind is welcome also. Please let me know if you have any questions! I'll leave the short of it below:
Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: 4 years of one-shots and longer term campaigns, mostly homebrew. Some experience with Roll 20. Location/Timezone: US, MST Schedule: I'm available Wednesday and Thursday evenings after work and I'm most free Saturday and Sunday. Looking to play once a week or once every other week? Open to scheduling with folks. Roles sought: DM / Players (5-6 total maximum) Game style: a healthy balance of casual roleplay/story and combat.
Hello, I'm a newbie DM putting an online group together to run Dragon of Icespire Peak, Curse of Strahd, and then moving into my homebrew campaign afterwards. The games will scheduled in EST., but we don't have an exact set date or time as I'm still trying to get players together, but it would more than likely be a bi-weekly weekend game. Would be happy to have you aboard if you're interested. Would be using this app, foundryvtt, and discord.
I'm looking to start a game on Thursdays 5pm Eastern Standard time if that aligns with your schedule. I am thinking of running Call of the Netherdeep and trying to find a chill group of players to Dm for and maybe we can do more after the end of the module. If interested send me a request on discord Inari Lord#0772
