Gameshow Variant?

Dungeon of the Mad Mage (DotMM) is by all accounts a rather dull affair from time to time. It is a Mega Dungeon. Whilst this may sound cool it is very much a "what you make of it" ordeal. To stop with boredom, fatigue and to keep you the players entertained I have decided to run this as a Gameshow. It cranks up the "mad" in the the Mad Mage and makes the character more involved and creates goals for the players to overcome as opposed to "find the next exit".

Group type: Online (Discord and Foundry)
Experience: Open to all players
Location/Timezone: Glasgow, Scotland. (Looking for GMT +2 or - 2 at maximum)
Schedule: Fridays, 8:30pm (GMT London) - This is the base time, week by week schedule can be adjusted where needed
Roles sought: Looking for 5 players of Level 5
Game style: This game is a very large dungeon crawl - a mega dungeon. There are plenty of Roleplay opportunities and many more combat opportunities. Given the nature of this module I will be running it in a more popular manner as opposed to straight from the book. This will make the titular character more involved and inject some comedy wherever possible. I will leave the official Blurb from WOTC Below

Explore the mega-dungeon of Undermountain in this adventure for the world’s greatest roleplaying game.

In the city of Waterdeep rests a tavern called the Yawning Portal, named after the gaping pit in its common room. At the bottom of this crumbling shaft is a labyrinthine dungeon shunned by all but the most daring adventurers. Known as Undermountain, this dungeon is the domain of the mad wizard Halaster Blackcloak. Long has the Mad Mage dwelt in these forlorn depths, seeding his lair with monsters, traps, and mysteries—to what end is a constant source of speculation and concern.

This adventure picks up where Waterdeep: Dragon Heist leaves off, taking characters of 5th level or higher all the way to 20th level should they explore the entirety of Halaster’s home. Twenty-three levels of Undermountain are detailed herein, along with the subterranean refuge of Skullport. Treasures and secrets abound, but tread with care!

Payment

After session 1, if you wish to play for any futher sessions you will:
Pay £10 (10 GPB) to myself via PayPal

This £10 will break down into 16 hours of playtime.
Not necessarily 4 sessions of 4 hours though.
Some sessions may be shorter, some may be longer. However, please note:

If your 16 hours expires mid session you will not:

• Be required to pay to continue the session
• The time spent over in 1 session will not be deducted from the others.

Further more, if you do not make it to a session, your timer is paused.
