We provide additional resources for free. Including access to all of the books on DND Beyond for character creation with adventure lore, an item inventory from previous Candlekeep Mysteries for all to share and use, and character sheets lovingly made by our volunteers!

Hi! I’m a moderately experienced player, but one who has been away from the game for a little while and am looking to get involved again. Definitely interested in this game if you would have me!
You might be better off putting some actual information into the post. Nobody with any hint of a brain is going to randomly click on random weblinks to goodness knows where made by someone with no name on an account that has never posted before.

Awesome, and now I am in a better place to understand what you are doing. I have been to the Ystrad area a few times. Beautiful area for landscape photography. Sgwrd y Eira in particular. I will have to check this out. Are characters handed out during the event or can players make their own in dndbeyond?
Ah, that's awesome! Pre-COVID we had our D&D games in person, and hope to return to those also in the hopefully near future, inspired on Welsh mythology and local heritage :-)
Our volunteers have made characters available for people to use, or alternatively, please bring your own! It is currently a level 3 adventure for Augusts Game.

Good day adventurer's! The weekend is upon us, and I bear fantastic news!
Our next online event is a level 4 adventure - ideal to try out those Feats - and as a proud Welsh Library operating Candlekeep Mysteries, we're really quite excited to bring this next adventure to you!
It's called a Deep and Creeping Darkness. Concerning a book describing a mining disaster, and its prompting of those interested in adventure, to search for a missing town.
As we're set in the South Wales valleys, with our rich mining histories and folk-lores, we're going to be really embracing the elements in this exciting adventure!
And for those interested in the Feywild, or the Wild Beyond the Witchlight's release, you should find a perfect experience in this one shot to try out your wildest ideas! For we will be playing with these just a tad on this particular adventure!
As much as our General Admission tickets can go, there has always been the opportunity for everybody to come in and play - and with the last Sunday of every month, our adventures continue to really test the mysteries of this fantastical library!

A little extra about yourself that you would like to share (not mandatory): I love role playing, reading and complicated royal titles
DnD playing experience: Dmed once for new people
Preferred campaign tone (serious, silly, etc.): I am serious and try to stay in character, however I do not dislike jokes.
How do you feel about RP?: It is a great experience, being able to be a shallow noble or a serious wizard without leaving one's seat is an amazing thing.
How do you feel about combat?: It is part of the game, I don't particularly like it when it's just I attack they attack. I prefer to be creative, role-playing out of combat is much more interesting than just fighting.
Preferred character class: Wizard
Character: Not really sure, I was thinking a High elf Wizard Nobel
Race: High elf
Slight Backstory: Raised in a high ranking family, he then has an argument and is kicked out even though he air to the throne, head of the family.
Class: Wizard
What do you like about DND?: Role-play, not knowing what comes next.
What do you dislike about DND: Four hour boring combat.
We would absolutely love to have you, and your character & game preferences sound perfect for Candlekeep! However, due to this being a organised event with the Library the times cannot be altered
