International role-playing community to practice different languages playing role games looking for DM’s and players

As is said we've created a community where we can practice, learn and help others to learn while having fun.

Rolling Languages came up as a conception to review, practice and even learn languages in an immersion atmosphere of different degrees. Its focus isn’t exactly on learning languages, but on experiencing an adventure about fantasy, intrigue, terror… while roleplaying.

 We've started not long ago so there's no a lot of games but, at least for now, most of them are one-shots and there's a variety of systems, the point is practicing languages or helping others to do so.

Because there's people from different places there's no an official "main timezone", because it started from a Spanish group there's a lot of people from Europe (as you can imagine checking the available languages) but these will be changing when the community grows.

Community rules:

1. 🤝 Respect. Members should treat each other with respect to create a comfortable environment of interaction.
2. 🫂 Inclusion. In this space, people are accepted regardless of their ethnicity, culture of origin, religion, gender and gender identity, sexual orientation, and special needs...
3. 🌿 Learning empathy. Mistakes are a fundamental phase of the learning process and they will be treated empathically, without undermining anyone who commits them. The goal here is to feel in a safe environment, so that we can make mistakes and learn from them. Measures that favor learning and corrections can be agreed upon amongst the interested group.
4. 🪧 Server organization. Channels should be used correctly, following the guidelines included in them in order to understand which topics are included in each one, so that it would be easier to find the information we need in the future.
5. 🔉 Languages. Each language will be used in the spaces destined for them, in order to facilitate communication. This server will start with a limited number of languages, but as demand, supply and server capacity grow, new languages will be included based on the server management team agreement.
6. 🤗 Inclusive language. The use of inclusive language shall be respected for the people who decide to use it.
7. 🏖️ Easing and learning atmosphere. Controversial topics that might create an unsatisfactory environment for roleplay and entertainment, such as politics, religion, football or sex, shall be avoided. These are important issues and are discussed in other dedicated servers. Getting away and having fun while roleplaying using several languages is this server’s goal.
8. ☠️ Allowed content to share. Sharing or requesting content protected by copyright is not allowed. Adult content shall be avoided too. Participants should be previously advised if this kind of content is included in any adventure. In addition, using safety mechanisms when dealing with this kind of topic is mandatory. Spam is only allowed in channels assigned for such.
9. 📓 Kind written expression. Overuse of capital letters, spam and meaningless threads such as emojis and gifs are not allowed.
10.🎲 Behaviour of the roleplaying group. Think of others and favour the involvement of your mates and positive interactions. Try to inform with enough time about your attendance to the game ahead of any possible setback. A template with the basic information for games offering will be provided by the server’s staff.
11. 👼 Proper behaviour during the roleplaying session. Safety mechanisms, especially regarding sensitive content, must be used. Respecting speaking times, allowing everybody’s engagement and having a supportive attitude towards learning and language acquisition processes are key to ensure a fun and correct evolution of the game.
12. ✅ Respect every participant's desire. Recording or streaming someone who has not given their explicit and informed consent is not allowed. The intention of recording and/or streaming the game must be clearly displayed.
13. 🎎 Moderation team. Guidelines provided by moderators must be respected and followed as long as possible. Moderators shall be informed about any relevant occurrence, such as those related with breaking the server’s rules.
