I have joined one actual game in the last like, year so, would love to have another. Games I have right now are on the weekends but any weekday is good
I'm a player with around 6 years of experience. I consider myself to be very knowledgeable about the rules of 5e especially. That gets me a little heated and I get a little confrontational about it. But I am also a staunch user and fan of the Rule of Cool. For example's sake: Changing how spells work in a given situation for narrative or badass reasons (especially with an arcana check to change it), super cool and I'm all for it; Changing the core rules of a class: Letting Known Spell casters change their spells (the optional rule for letting you change one per long rest is much more understandable, but having there be no differences between casting classes upsets me), Or really breaking the game with spell slots not mattering or casting 2 spells in one turn (Matt Mercers Spelldriver ability is a good compromise for this issue)
I know this makes me seem like quite the catch. But I take the games I play in and the world I find my character in very seriously, role play is important to me, combat is also important to me. I take my character creation and background creation very seriously. The bottom line is that I like playing this game a lot and I hope that that's enough to get over my particularities about things.
I have a group we are looking for a DM for wednesday nights between 12:30-5:30am. not sure on ur availability but feel free to message me on discord Bronzeballs22#9704
hello, I've been playing 5e for a while now and still find myself looking for a game where people can enjoy the story. your post makes me think your DM style is what I'm looking for, serious RP and Combat (not that we cant joke around every now and then)
Sounds like we might have a good fit, shoot me an invite on discord- Sledge#0772
In short, we are a medium sized group (around 40 players) that take our commitment to our games more seriously in the sense that we are there each week and put in effort to RP in a meaningful manner. I think you would be a great addition to our group.
I know I'm a bit late to this, but if you are still looking for a game, I have a spot open on Curse of Strahd Tuesday nights from 7 pm-12 am EST. We do online play with FoundryVTT hosted on Forge, and I seek out players that are very much into their roleplay as well as their rules. I allow homebrew into my games, both races, and classes, as well as a free feat. I've been DMing for two and a half years, but Curse of Strahd is my first adventure, and I'm also running it with homebrew expansions. I have family and friends as well as strangers from different parts of the world playing in my game, so it can be both a funny game and a serious game.
Hit me up on Discord if you're interested, MinaTheKitKat#8277
