Hello, I'm 26 and live in the UK. I've been watching Critical Role for several years and doing so my interest of playing D&D peaked. I've made an idea of an character I would love to play and looking for a group with a DM and players that will play frequently and preferably quite long campaing. I have never played D&D but watched a lot of CR so hopefully will pick up the game quite fast.
If there are any existing groups or someone looking to start a new campaing, feel free to respond to this thread or add me on Discord! Discord tag: Tjocka Ledaren#1279
I would love to let you join my campaign, especially because all of us are new to D&D! We play Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. MDT for 1-2 hours on Wednesday and 4 hours on Saturday! We have a google hangout where I will post meetings so we can chat, and I can easily post the join link in there for you.
That is very tempting, if I could think about the offer that'd be great since that would be 3am for (UK) weekends not an issue but weekday 3am might be a bit difficult and I also wouldn't want to miss out on any game sessions. But if you allow me to think on it I will get back to you soon!
What kind of game does your group play? Any specific rule books you allow/don't allow? Does your group use DnD beyond for rolls or how do you play your game? Any map software?
We don't really have any rules, beside joining on time, we let any dice rolling app do. If I allow a stupid idea from someone else, I'll probably let you do it to. (Unless your class doesn't really do that to my knowledge) I don't really have a map software set up yet. If for any reason I can't show up, we're canceling and I'll let you know in the hangout. If you can't come for a reason just let us know, and I'll just try to do side adventures for the others, not really going off what we're doing for the main campaign. And I'm looking at an official D&D handbook for do's and do not's. We are just doing random adventures that seem fun. (This one was because I had no idea on what to do) If you have any suggestions, list them in the chat or ask me and the others to stay on longer at the meetings so we can figure out what to do.

I forgot that on Saturdays, we start an hour early, we can try to fix stuff like this if we need to.
I'm thankful for the invite to your game, but I have come to the decision to pass due the time difference
Understandable, have a great day/night!
