Experienced Dnd player looking for a semi-serious game.

kinda new to posting on this but, I am looking for a group and am willing to be flexible. I enjoy role playing, heartbreak and adventure and am very versed in 5e. Been playing since I was 19 and I am 30 now. My pronouns are He/Him and have had the gaming itch!

Fridays are good! Ummm what are the specifics of the game? How heavy the rp? How many people? 

The starting town is Cimbar. The main god bahamut and asmedous have been warring for over a couple 100 years with no clear definite winner. Bahamut has what he calls his champions of bahamut. These people have been chosen by different gods to serve them or help them. Currently bahamut has been separated into sphere's and asmedous is stuck in the outer plans. Someone in the church which partially controls the town of cimbar had a vision that asmedous would come back. Now you may have been chosen to help in ending this war.

I like it! Do I have to be “chosen” or can I just help out (this will help with creation and class). I have a few characters on standby. Any restrictions like no critical role classes, race restrictions, ect?

so in the session 0 we can see if you would be "chosen" or you can just help out....no restrictions but nothing to game breaking
