Hi, cheers for taking the time to check this out. I am a student, (soon to be) 20 years-old with a very brief past experience with D&D (having participated in two casual campaigns several years ago). Here's a brief rundown of what I'm looking for:
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: While I have played D&D before, I still consider myself inexperienced. My last campaign was just under four years ago, and as a result I have retained very little knowledge of how to play the game and all its intricacies (mostly spells, levels and turn orders). Despite this, I am rather confident with the roleplay and character creation / interaction aspects, as I have more experience in the field of roleplaying games. So, I just need players that have the patience to guide me through the more technical aspects, whilst providing fun and/or meaningful character interactions. Location/Timezone: I live in the UK, and subsequently operate by that timezone (BST), but I am willing to play with players from other timezones so long as we can find a common time that best suits us all to play. Availability: Due to work, I am only available from between the hours of 6pm-11pm on most weekdays. However, most (but not all) weekends I will be available for the majority of the day (approximately 11am until the late hours - typically 3am (as you can probably tell, I am a night owl) - so I am very flexible when it comes to weekend availablity. Preferred role: Player. When it comes to my preferred class; given how I struggle with managing spells and such, I typically go for the simpler classes: notably fighter and monk are the two I have played before - and have very much enjoyed! However, I am more than willing to experiment with more complex classes if I can find players patient enough to teach me. Game style: Given this will be my first campaign in around 4 years, I think casual would probably suit me best, but that is not a definate no to other possibilities. When it comes to preferences, I like campaigns with strong stories and opportunities for group and individual character interaction and development (both fun and serious) - as I find that to be one of the most engaging aspects of TTRPGs.
Once again, cheers for taking the time to read all this. Hope you're having a chill day
