Novice Player Looking for a Dependable Group

I am looking for a group to join. I do not have a ton of experience playing as my groups always seem to fall through after just a few sessions. I have listened to a few DnD podcasts and have lots of experience doing more text-based role-playing adventures. So, I may need help with leveling and some guidance on rules. I am in PST, but have pretty open availability over summer, once college classes start again in the fall my schedule will be more limited, but I will be available after 4pm most nights. 

What I want in a game/group:

I am open to most settings and storylines. I want a group that will be LGBTQIA+, neurodiversity, and disability affirming. I also would love a group that uses trauma informed approaches such as an RPG consent checklist.

I see that you're in PST.  SoCal by chance?  I'm looking to start an in person game every other Friday in Santa Monica.  Definitely LGBTQIA+ friendly, I could provide references on discord but that just seems so gauche.
