Hello, if you're reading this post, then hopefully, that means you're interested in learning how to play D&D and working with a new DM. I have little to no experience playing the game myself, but my goal for this campaign is to create a safe place for new players who want to learn to play.
I'll get some of the expectations out of the way so you can see if this game would work for you. I go by Arizona time and work a full-time job that I usually leave at 5 PM. Because of my work schedule, I would primarily be looking to schedule games for after 5 PM on Fridays or after 3 PM on Saturdays. I'm looking for 3-5 players who are interested in playing characters who want to go on an adventure/campaign. Kindness and patience are essential for this campaign; as the DM, I want all my players to have fun and enjoy themselves. Character builds are restricted to what's inside the player's handbook. Lastly, you have to be okay with LBGTQ+ players and characters.
If you have read through that and still feel like you would be interested in playing, please leave a comment below, and I will message you with a link to a Discord created for this campaign. I will likely send the link to those interested later in the day.
Hi! I read your description and that sounds like something id be interested in. A little about me: I played some AD&D in college in the 90's (2E!) and a few other RPG's for a few years. Since then, I've played mostly MMORPG's (WoW, ESO, etc.). Lately, I've wanted to get back into a pencil & dice game. I would love a refresher/intro game under the new rules.
I live in CA and also have a full time job. Friday nights and/or weekends would be perfect. I can quickly roll up a 5e character and have no problem with LGBTQ+ players or characters.
My discord is : TacoTuesday #1396 or leave me a message here.
Hi! I have been toying with the create character page, but do not know how to play, if you are still open for more players my Discord is NovakB#5970. I'm currently only available at 8pm to 11pm PST if that's alright. Also I don't have the Players Handbook, only Basic Rules and Beginners Guide. Is the book mandatory?
The time availability stays the same for Fridays. I may have a feild trip on Saturday, I'll let you know the time availability for then when I can. My schedule will change when schools starts up.

I’m interested. Discover seanprince#5424
Is the time availability the case for both Saturday and Friday? Also, the basic rule book would be okay.
If you are still looking for players, I am new to D&D and would love to join. My discord is Petrowest #1295
