Fight the War Against Humanities Oppression in this Adventure
The Eregion Empire has always been home solely to humans and has a long history of discrimination towards those not like them. A few years ago, the audacious King Eregion declared war against all Monsters. To this end, his men are sweeping from across the land, from town to town, laying waste to all those who oppose them and either enslaving or wiping out Monsterkin altogether. The threat of annihilation has become so dire that races as disparate as Aarokocra and Yuan-ti are banding together to fight against the Empire. Never before has the need for heroes been so desperate.
About the Dungeon Master My name is Zig [22M], I have been a Dungeon Master for about a year now, and have DM'd ~45 different sessions worth of content. I have been dm'ing this campaign setting for the past couple of months, and after a few players had to drop out we are looking to restart the campaign and add one more player for a full party of 5.
Why play? Custom story - I take a lot of time to tailor the story around your characters and give you a good mix of combat, exploration and social elements every session. Living worlds - My games never feel like just a module that is being run off the shelf. They are alive with beautiful soundscapes and encounter maps, memorable NPC's whom I voice-act for and your actions have visible consequences that impact the setting. Tactical Combat - I place heavy emphasis on combat during my sessions. The combat encounters for this campaign will feel real and will require teamwork. There will rarely be a time where you will breeze through a combat encounter. I have a few homebrew rules for combat to make it feel more realistic and to encourage working with your teammates.
Character Creation Characters begin the adventure at Level 1 and play continues on a weekly basis until the storyline is completed. We will be using Point Buy, and all Sourcebook content is allowed as long as it follows under the following restrictions:
