Hello! I'm lostonesfound, 27, and live in the Central U.S. time zone. I am very new to dnd, never played before, and so far have enjoyed 1 campaign by Dimension 20 on YouTube, which inspired me to give it a try!
I've roleplayed online for several years and kinda figured I would enjoy dnd for the character making, interacting and collaborating with others on fun possible storylines, and writing! I've already made up three character things here on dnd beyond. Taking into consideration that I've mostly written online, I was very curious about possibly joining a discord group. Honestly, I don't have a lot of free time for voice based ones, but I'd love to try out text based ones! I feel like I might enjoy that a bit more since I am a bit shy. Also because it is a bit hard for me to dedicate a set time.
I typically am available in the evenings on weekdays to discuss things regarding character creation and such, but am more available for a campaign on Saturday nights. I am also usually (pretty much always) on mobile so I am unsure If that would work out with playing dnd on discord. Too, since I'm very new to dnd I think I would be more comfortable starting off with a casual group than with a paid one.
If there is a possible casual discord group that won't mind holding my hand till I get the hang of it and won't mind all my newbie questions, please let me know!
