Good morning, afternoon, evening, or night! Name's James and "Out of the Abyss" is the game. I'm a relatively new DM, hoping to make his big break with a campaign I've never seen or heard of, so it'll be an adventure for everyone involved. I'm looking for 2-3 "committed" players. And when I mean "committed," I mean it. Too many times have I played with people who just call out last minute or don't bother to send a message, and I find it rude. You have a good reason and I mean really good reason, I'll take it. Otherwise, three strikes and you're out. If you're interested, place a comment down below with a little info about yourself, send me a message through DNDBeyond, and after all that, contact me through Discord at James Corinth#0636 (All that because I get a lot of notifications from a lot of people and I don't which is which [so it helps]). Also, make a note, this campaign is hard and demands a good level of planning and strategy when it comes to what you have and what you can get in the world of the Underdark.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Start time will be: Sundays at 1:00 PM EST (Ending around 5:00 PM EST).
(As of July 28th, all requested positions have been filled, but if you still desire to be in the campaign: in your post, say you'd like to be in the queue and I will hold on to your information till a spot opens up.)
I am committed. I am not interested unless it is a regular game. I played in a campaign for 7 years and I'm currently playing in a game that has been going for over a year.
I started gaming back in 1990-something. I've played 5e several times. I like role play, combat, problem solving, puzzles, socializing, getting treasure, and leveling up. I like all the stuff really. I am a little obsessed with Critical Role and maybe I would say their style is ideal to me.
My general approach to things is to try to be understanding and patient. People have many interpretations of how they want d&d to run...my approach is to try to be reasonable and let people enjoy their favored ideal. Basically, I want people to have a fun experience.
I have several character ideas I would want to play.
im new to DnD and although that might sound detrimental as you might say i can't be committed. But one of my character flaws is that if i set my eyes on something i get obsessed with it. A bit more info about myself, im 21 male and from germany (dont worry about the timezones it works out!)
The premise of the campaign seems interesting and the time is perfect. I would like to be in the queue.
I am quite new to ttrpgs and my only experience with dungeons and dragons is the Baldur's gate series and some books from first and fifth editions. I have wanted to play for a few years, but haven't had the opportunity(free time) until now. A steady campaign seems like an ideal place to start.
ye i would be very interested. Seems like a fun journey I'm willing to have and be committed to. TBH, i played a lot more recently because of Stranger Things
