New-ish player LFG in NYC/EST[GMT-5] [Weekday evenings/Weekends]

Game: D&D 5e (or, and I know this is D&D Beyond, but if you've got a Call of Cthulu campaign going, I'd dig that, too)
Group preferred: Online / Face-to-face /either 
Experience: New to playing, but not to D&D (long-time viewer, first time player)
Location/Timezone: New York City area or EDT [GMT-5]
Availability: Weeknights after 6:00 pm EST/Weekends anytime (until 11:00 pm EDT)
Preferred role: Player
Game style: I'm all in for both RP and combat. 

I'd love to find a good game with some cool people in the NYC area (maybe online b/c things are still a little COVID-weird in the city, but definitely with the possibility of transitioning to F2F). That said, I'm absolutely open to an online-only game at the above noted days/times in the US Eastern time zone (or elsewhere, adjusting for time differences). Weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly games are all cool.
