New player looking for excitement

Experience: New. I've done one short campaign with friends.
Location/Timezone: western united states
Availability: usually after noon. Can't commit to a fixed schedule.
Preferred role: Player
Game style: Looking for a good mix of fighting and roleplay. Text based only. Want something not too aggressive, but not too laid back, either. Prefer not to play with Warlocks, Blood hunters, or Sorcerers. Aberrations and undead are also not preferred.
