Roleplayer looking for a group either offline (nyc) or online

Hi everyone,

I live in New York and it's pretty hard to find a group these days. I'm 34 working in Film and I'm a big nerd when it comes to fantasy lore and settings. I work mostly behind the camera but I do have a background in theater and I love to roleplay my characters.

I'm looking for a group with open minded chill people who want equal parts roleplay and combat. Any setting is fine though my latest obsession has been reading about Eberron lore.

I'd also be open to DM'ing eventually but really want to be a player first.

Schedule would have to be weekends.
