Newb from Dallas-Ft. Worth looking for a causal game

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online
Experience: New (never played)
Location/Timezone: Dallas- Ft. Worth
Availability: I am able to play on my free time, which varies from lunch breaks, nights and weekends. It won't always be the same at I am a mother of 3 and starting Grad School 2 nights a week.
Preferred role: Player
Game style: I think to start I am looking for a casual game.

I am new to this but I would like to learn so my husband and I can play together. I am hoping to find a game online to join that would allow him to join as well. He still needs to create his character. I have one up, Trixie, a human variant sorcerer with a criminal/thief background whom is lawful-good with neutral tendencies. Neither of us have played but hope to develop this game as a skill to teach our kids. 

**I will need a DM that is willing to explain the gameplay and steps until I understand it**
