LFP Norse inspired Homebrew campaign

Hello all I’m Smoky.

I have been a DM for 2 years and have a spot open up for a player in my new homebrew campaign.  We have only had a one shot to introduce the world and are scheduled to have a first session this Saturday 8/13.

so for the world, this is a grittier feel than the typical fantasy dnd game. Fighting could result in permanent injury, or disfigurement. Survival will play a large part in this setting, determining if you thrive or die in the frigid cold of the north.   Your decisions very much matter and will shape the history of the world and how different factions and individuals treat the characters and party.

Game: DnD 5e     
Experience: New-few years    
Time: We are all US based and play 8:00PM Central time on saturdays   
gamestyle: a good mix, but I focus heavily on story and roleplay with the players
