Traitors Amidst Treasures; One-Shot

The great Jawahr City has been shaken after an onslaught of synchronized attacks by terrifying monstrosities of unknown origins and intentions. With several of its leaders severely injured or missing, the defenses of the city are fractured leaving the mystical treasures of the Gem of the Gleaming Sands vulnerable to malevolent forces.

Rumors have spread, first amongst mercenaries followed by the common folk. A faceless figure has set an exorbitant reward for whoever can retrieve the egg of the mythical draconic guardian of Jawahr, Sodhè the Clever. Many unscrupulous factions in the city's underbelly have stirred to answer this summons, and trust has become a rare commodity. You have received a mysterious letter of summons from a person who seeks your particular set of skills. Regardless of whether you are an honorable warrior or a ruthless cutthroat, upon reading the letter you felt the stirrings of curiosity.
Will you take this first step to answer the siren song of adventure? Are you up for the challenge?

This One Shot will  very likely transition to a linked Homebrew Storm Kings Thunder campaign in the future!

Details; 

• PAID $12 USD. Its a paid game because it helps me to keep up the quality of my games. Quality and enjoyability for players are a priority for me as a DM.
• Non-Good Aligned Characters are suitable for this one-shot!
• Beginners and players of all backgrounds are and will always be welcome at the table. Hatred or bigotry will not be tolerated.
• We will be playing on FoundryVTT, and using D&DBeyond for character sheets.  
• No prior experience needed, I'll do my best to guide you through the basics.
• Level 4 characters, UA/Homebrew permitted after discussion.
• Gameplay: Fast paced combat. Creative problem solving and being engaged with the story, as well as roleplaying in character are encouraged and rewarded
• Session Timings; Aug 15th (UTC 5-8pm) and 24th (UTC 5-8pm, but open to changing timing)
