Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online via Discord/Roll20/D&DBeyond Experience: I previous DM'd a Homebrew campaign set in the world of Eventis for nearly 20 sessions. We ended the campaign for reasons out of our control. This new campaign is set in that same world. See below! Location/Timezone: UK (GMT+0) - I would prefer you to be from the UK or somewhere close to make sessions easier, but if you're willing to make time for the sessions then we'd absolutely have you! Schedule: Probably looking at a week night like Thursday 7-10 ROUGHLY. Or a Sunday 5-8, 6-9,7-10. Again this is propositional and subject to change. Roles sought: Looking for 2 players. For reference, we already have 3 and one will probably play an Artificer, another a Cleric or Bard. I am 18 and the three players are a similar age, so please only show interest if you are at least 16. Game style: A homebrew 5e game in a high fantasy world called Eventis. I will include a snippet of the handout I have sent my players below! Feel free to shoot me any questions / inquiries. Either reply here, or my discord is TheFennick#0001. FYI this D&DBeyond account has a stupid name but I can't change it :(
Welcome to Cerys Rising, a homebrew 5e campaign which takes place in the country of Cerys, the furthest south-eastern point on the continent of Gadaros. This campaign will take place many years before the start of my upcoming novel series which I am writing now, in the vast world of Eventis.
Eventis is considered a high-fantasy world: with elves, orks, dragons etc, however, there are definite distinctions from other works or worlds you may be used to. Anything your characters do will likely be permanent in the history of Eventis; events from the last 'prologue' campaign set in my world will be a part of the novel series and even have impacts on the campaign you are about to play.
Cerys is ruled by (and named after) the very powerful Cerys family – a family of Ragesh (summer) elves who are infamous for the creation of the Cerysian Vanguard: a formidable standing army of drake riders who wear black and gold armour and carry lances. The leader of the family, and King of Cerys, is a male Ragesh elf named King Mydor Cerys. He is known for his intelligence and cunning, but also for his infamous combat strength and handling of his golden drake: Azderos. The family have held the country almost since the dawn of time... once a human fortress atop the Baldur Mountains, it was captured by some of the first Ragesh elves of existence and transformed into a bustling town and fortress, defended by the mighty drakes of Cerys.
Stories say that the drakes were a gift from Haimis', the goddess of fire herself. Many say that she saw the fire in the hearts of the Ragesh elves and gifted them with drakes to take the city of Rhydor from the humans who already laid claim to vast territories. With their drakes, the Cerys family took Rhydor and its surrounding territories with fire and blood, dawning a kingdom that has so far, stood the test of time. Many have tried to rise against the Cerys family, to invade the country... but all have been destroyed at the might of the Cerysian Vanguard.
At the right hand of King Mydor is his most trusted advisor, a Seltian (sub-race of human) man named Rimeyus Harrow. Their families are joined by the marriage of Rimeyus to Mydor's younger sister: Rhea Cerys. Rimeyus is known to be a kind, loyal man who seeks the protection and wellbeing of Cerys' people and his family above all.
Many flock to Cerys at the promise of protection, to live in a safe, just country which is quite cut off from the rest of the continent. The Spirelands (an area to the north), whilst under the protection of Man, borders the vast expanse of Ashara which is held by the Elves. Since the creation of Eventis, the Elves and Men have fought over territories. Many fear another war to come, which inevitably will come with death and destruction. A mountain range called the Tempest Circlet dominates a lot of the northern border of Cerys. A central highway through the centre of the country, called the Golden Road (which is regularly patrolled by the Cerysian Vanguard) leads straight to the capital city of Rhydor, where the King resides.
The climate within Cerys is extremely hot (being on the southern half of the continent) and is occupied with jungle, thick forest, lots of mountains and arid hillside. The Eastern half of the continent is known as Mineske, abundant with swamp, marsh and jungle. Of all lands in Cerys, the East is the least protected and governed due to the difficulty of its terrain. As such, it has been called the Deep Wild by locals.
The campaign will start at Level 1, however, there are key differences that need to be considered whilst creating your character. Some races don't make sense to exist in this world and others have been added as part of my years-long development of Eventis. If you have any inquiries or questions please feel free to ask! For those that join the campaign I'll endeavour to join a call with each of you or all of you together to talk through character creation, answer any questions and to help solidify your character's ties to Eventis and backstories. Each of you will start with your own personal quest(s) which will help give your characters some direction.
Hello there I really like this idea and think it is going to be an awesome campaign. Unfortunately our time zones don’t really work. I did want to tell you however that there is a way for you to change your beyond username. Post a reply in this link and you will be given a nickname credit to change your username.
This is sounds like a wonderful world and wonderful campaign! I'd love to be a part of the campaign and would like to buy any novels released about this world

I'm not UK-based, but it looks like the timing may work out regardless. Though I'm not sure if you'd be interested in someone completely new (I've played a campaign of Pathfinder like 6 years ago but am new to D&D) but if so, I'd love to join your group! The campaign sounds pretty cool!
Hey, I'd be interested in joining your Game. I am from Germany (so the time zone almost fits), 22, and have about 2 years of experience playing DnD regularly (as a player and DM). The time slots you proposed fit for me except for Wednesdays as I already DM a game then. Sunday would fit too, but I prefer Weeknights. For a character, my Idea would be a druid (with a single level in barbarian if that’s ok), who guards a Forrest. However, that forest has fallen under a curse so my character is looking for a way to lift this curse/cure the forest. Btw, I do have a DnD beyond subscription for content sharing, and most books if that helps you. I've sent you a Discord friend request in case you'd like to discuss this further.
