The Death Curse descends upon the lands, slowly draining the life from any who have been raised from the grave before, and prevents any new resurrections from occurring. No cleric has been able to find a way to slow or stop the effects, nor do they know the source. With only a few clues to go off of, adventurers have begun to set out in an attempt to put a stop to the curse once and for all.
Have one of your close friends or family been raised from the dead in the past? No matter how the curse affects you, it is up to you to put a stop to the it. Can you successfully destroy the source before something you love withers away forever, or will you crumple under the pressure and join the leagues of undead that wander the jungle?

About the DM
Hey friends, my name is Connor and I’ll be your dungeon master! 6 years ago, when I first opened up a copy of the Monster Manual that a friend borrowed from his dad, I never expected D&D to become such a massive part of my life. For the past half decade I've immersed myself into the worlds, characters, and ultimately the stories of the games I've played and ran. Over that time I’ve played almost exclusively D&D5e, which has given me a much deeper understanding of the system than most DM’s.
As for my style of DMing, I tend to run games with a loose structure and focus on improv to allow for true player agency. Much of my prep time is spent implementing individual characters and their backstories into the world, creating curated moments that are unique to the character and allow for the player’s vision of them to play out as best as possible.
] Why Pay? [
Dedicated DM + Players
So why pay? I get this question a lot when asked about what I do. Simply put, as a professional DM my job is to provide you with a D&D session once a week, every week. Inconsistency is a huge problem in the tabletop community, as sessions are frequently canceled and campaigns are abruptly ended. Sadly life is ever-changing and not everyone can guarantee they’ll be free to DM every week for the next 3-12 months. By paying to play you guarantee that you’ll have a game to join every week, and that you’ll be able to play the campaign from start to finish.
Although consistency is (in my opinion) the main draw of paid games there are several other benefits. Players who pay tend to be more committed to the game and miss fewer sessions. It’s also no secret D&D has had a boom in popularity over the past 5 years and new players continue to flood in, leaving hordes of players but never enough DM’s. Paid games allow an extra option for players wanting to skip the often multi-week or even multi-month long search for a campaign that suits their schedule.
FAQ: How Does This Work?
Joining a paid game can be intimidating for some at first since many don’t know what to expect, the same is doubly so for new D&D players. So here I’ll answer a few of the common questions I’m often asked about paid games!
Q: How does payment work and how do I actually pay you?
A: The price I list is per session ($20/session), so you would pay once per week prior to the session. You can pay over either ***** or Paypal, whichever you prefer! There is also a free session 0 before the campaign starts that allows everyone to meet each other and create / finalize characters.
Q: What happens if I need to miss a session? Will I still need to pay for that week?
A: As long as you let me know ahead of time, missing a session is no issue! As for the second question, nope! If you don’t play that week you won’t have to pay either.
Q: Are paid games more serious / less casual / etc.?
A: Just like normal D&D campaigns, it depends heavily on the DM and player’s personal preference. For my games I tend to keep everything fairly casual and focus on making sure everyone's having fun, because in the end that’s what D&D is all about! I also adapt to how the individual groups play, so if the party agrees that they want a more rp heavy or hack ‘n slash campaign, then it shall be done!
Q: I’m completely new to tabletop games / D&D, will that be an issue?
A: Not at all! I’m happy to help a new player learn the ropes and can answer any other questions you might have.

If you want to get a head start on a character hook, try and think of a way they would be affected by the Death Curse. Is your father an ex-adventurer slowly withering from the curse? Are you a priest that is sent out to find the source of the curse?
