I have never run a group for LGBTQ+ people in particular, but I have had several in my groups.
I was running a group at my local game shoppe that had a lot of disadvantaged youth in it. None of which I knew before I showed up to run.
I had a 13 year old girl in my group that came out to me when we were both at the session 45 minutes early. We talked and it turned out 2 of the boys in the group are gay.
So going forward we spiced it up and encouraged openess in the game and expressing individuality.
